Natalie has an amazing touch with makeup…and so do all of her friends!  I’d never seen so much makeup in one place before!  It inspired me to ditch my  Cover Girl makeup & head to Sephora after this wedding! After spending the morning together in the salon, we all headed to the church to finish getting ready & to prepare for Corey & Natalie’s first look.  Natalie…you looked AMAZING!  I wish so badly I had a heart rate monitor on Corey during the first look!  His heart had to be racing as he saw his gorgeous wife to be!Even though it was in the upper 90’s that day, these groomsmen worked it out!The bridesmaids also brought their A game!  🙂  (LOOOOVED these girls!!!!)After the wedding, we had about 10 minutes for portraits before we had to be back at the reception.  This crew cooperated so well & we got a bunch of great portraits in no time!Corey & Natalie…sigh.  Could the two of you be more perfect together?Natalie…I could take your portraits all.day.long.  You are so beautiful!Their reception was filled with dancing, laughter, tons of yummy food…but no cake!!!!!  Their bakery never delivered their wedding cake!  Even with that major hiccup, they just let it roll of their backs & didn’t let it stand in their way of having a great evening with their family and friends!

How did the two of you meet?
We had crossed paths numerous times over the last 8 years, but one SummerFest in Downtown Bloomington we exchanged phone numbers and haven’t stopped talking since.
How did he propose…and what made you say yes?
Took me on a motorcycle ride out to Lake Bloomington, where he acted like he needed to pick something up from a friends house.  We were standing on a friends dock when a boat came by with a “Will You Marry Me?” sign on it.  On the boat was his best friends and my best friends, complete with wine and cake!  After I said yes we got on the boat and rode around the lake at sunset.  It was perfect.  I knew I’d say yes from the second date.:)

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

When we were walking back down the aisle after being announced as husband and wife.

What was your favorite detail from your wedding day?
The FLOWERS!
What was your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue?
Old = Grandma’s Wedding Ring, New = Wedding Dress, Borrowed = a hankerchief from my mother, Blue = Garter belt.
Any advice you would give to future brides and grooms?
Sounds cliche, but just make sure you step back and enjoy the moment!  AND, double check with the cake people 🙂

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
