I scrapped!

I haven’t scrapped a scrapbook page since October…which is quite a change from the girl that used to do one or two a day!  I finished editing a project last night and my reward to myself was a little scrapping time.  I opened up photoshop and unzipped my files.  I felt so rusty as I started trying to figure out where to place everything.  It felt so good to feel the creativity start to creep back in that I just started getting all teary eyed at my computer.  I had missed scrapping so much! (I know…you are all thinking I’m insane…getting all teary eyed about scrapbooking!)  There is so much I love about digital scrapbooking…recording my family’s memories, the creative outlet, and the friendships I’ve found in the digital scrapbooking community online.  Last night, I vowed to myself that I needed to reward myself more often with some play time…it felt so good!

Here’s my layout…It’s a simple one, but I love that the focus stays on the picture!
