Hannah & Austin were married on October 22nd in Decatur.  Hannah is one of the sweetest people in the whole world & I knew that it was going to be such a perfect wedding day.  Hannah’s sister got married this past summer, so it has been a busy year for Hannah’s family and one that has been consumed with wedding details!  I’m sure mom & dad are happy to not be drowning in wedding plans this holiday season!  They have definitely earned some down time this Christmas!

Hannah & Austin waited to see each other until she walked down the aisle & it was making me teary watching her see him for the first time.  You could just see the happiness and love she has for Austin all over her face.  The look on Austin’s face let me know that the feeling was definitely mutual.  He just adores her!  They had such a sweet, intimate ceremony & then we headed out for some wedding party photos.  This was hands down one of the easiest groups I’ve had this year.  They were so willing to do anything I wanted & never complained.  Groups like that are hard to find!  But, considering Hannah & Austin are so sweet and genuine, I expected nothing different from their friends and family!  After photos we headed to the reception & they danced the night away.  I loved the energy on the dance floor…everyone had such a great time!  It’s always fun when all ages are on the dance floor & everyone just enjoys celebrating the new couple together.

It was such a perfect day!  I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of it!

Hannah & Austin sitting in a tree…k-i-s-s-i-n-g! 🙂

Hannah…you are such a gorgeous bride!

Could the two of you be any cuter?!?  Promise to always cuddle like this, ok?

How did the two of you meet?
-We have known each other since pre-school, so there is no exciting “how they first met” story!
How did Austin propose?
-He proposed on a golf course after a round of golf. (I think it was his way of always being able to get me out on the golf course,
because now golfing is a part of our life’s story!)
What was your “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue?”
-Something Old: I wore my Grandma’s original wedding band, I carried a hankie my mom carried on her wedding day, and my mother in
law’s garter from her wedding
-Something new: my dress, jewelry, throw-away garter, and shoes
-Something Barrowed: My sister’s vail
-Something Blue: Both garters had blue in them
What was your favorite part of the day?
Walking down the aisle on my Dad’s arm and seeing Austin (and the tears in his eyes) for the first time that day.
Funniest Memory?
The Priest blessed our rings with Holy Water, and the rings were completely drenched and sitting in a puddle of water in Austin’s hand. And the look on Austin’s face! He had no idea what to do with the water or the rings that were sitting in the puddle! However, the Holy water sure made those rings slide on easy!
Favorite wedding day detail?
It is too hard to choose just one detail! The reception looked even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! We loved everything, and wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Any advice for brides in the middle of the planning process?
It is so stressful, because you want everything to be just how you have imagined it your entire life. But start early because things book up fast, especially if the month is October! And enjoy that time, because it goes by so fast!  One thing that I am so happy I had was my Wedding Planning Book.  My Mom and Sister bought me the wedding planning book right after our
engagement. It was such a great way to stay organized, it gives a timeline of when to plan and book things, and it is also a great keepsake! I will be able to look back at the book when I am planning a wedding for our future children and see how much things cost and all of the details I have forgotten!

Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and spent a week at Secrets Wild Orchid. (It was amazing!)
Thank you so much Kellie!  If we haven’t told you before, thank you again for taking such good care of us on our wedding day. We feel so blessed to have such a great photographer!
