The Jones Family {Decatur, IL family photography}

When LaWanda called me and asked me to do their photos, I couldn’t have been more excited!  I just adore this family & they truly hold a special place in my heart!  We met Jerry & LaWanda when Jerry was pastoring a local church & I loved getting together with them for hot wings.  LaWanda introduced me into rubber stamping & it grew into a huge card making addiction for me.  She is so very talented!  We watched them transition into parents as they adopted sweet Rachel and they couldn’t have a cuter family!  They have been there for us during our hardest times…they were the first ones at our home when we lost Miles & Jerry filled in for Tyler that first Sunday.  I’m so very grateful that I get to call them my friends.  They now live overseas & are home for a bit!  We met for pictures & then took our families to Dairy Queen for dinner/dessert.  (and we stayed there until they kicked us out…we had no idea it was getting so late!)
