It’s hard to believe it is already Christmas Eve! We have loved watching the snow gently fall all day long…I don’t remember a Christmas that has ever been so beautiful! Mason & Millie have a Christmas wish list a mile long & are anxiously waiting to see what Santa brings them! They sprinkled the lawn with Reindeer food tonight, set out cookies & milk for Santa, and are wearing their cute new PJ’s. Before we tucked them into bed tonight, we sat them on the couch and just videotaped them. It was sooooo sweet to hear them talk about Christmas. Mason said “Christmas means the birth of God!” (we reminded him it is Jesus’ Birthday!) He said “It’s Jesus’ birthday & he came for us and we believe him. He brings us JOY!!!” It doesn’t get better than that! Millie kept echoing whatever Mason said…she just adores her big brother!
In the morning, we will open up our stockings, read about the birth of Jesus, and open up the pile of presents under the tree. I am so very thankful that I have been blessed with such a wonderful family!
