I couldn’t have scripted a better day if I tried. Jake & Lauren were so genuinely excited and thrilled to be getting married & wanted the whole day to be a relaxed celebration of their love. They pulled it off perfectly. I cried during the ceremony from the gorgeous songs that were played & the true moments of worship that were shared during the ceremony. It was truly amazing to witness. After the ceremony, we headed out to the reception site and spent time photographing the wedding party while their guests started mingling and enjoyed playing the yard games that were set up. Oversized Jenga & Kerplunk? Yes, please! (This venue is amazing. If you’re getting married in St. Louis, you have to add it to your list of places to check out.) After we completed the portraits, we headed into the reception to begin celebrating the new marriage. Lauren’s sister lives in Ireland and was skyped in to be able to deliver her maid of honor speech. Everyone was in tears. It truly felt as if her sister were there celebrating right along with us. I absolutely adored Lauren’s family & asked her dad if I could be an adopted daughter in their family. They are truly an amazing family with so much love for each other. I feel so incredibly honored that I was the one chosen to document this amazing day!
