I had the amazing opportunity to partner with the Go Ten Walk this past Tuesday. Some of you are probably asking, “What is the Go 10 Walk?”
The purpose is to challenge young people to consider their role in reaching the nations with the gospel in their generation. The year 2010 is the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of our modern missions program. Laura Belle Barnard was sent out as our first missionary to India in 1935. To commemorate this event, we are challenging Free Will Baptist young people to a life-changing commitment. They will be asked to commit to walk a 10-mile segment of a 2,500-mile course. (from the Go 10 site)
We walked on day 65 & were surprised to have our buddy Johnny Hollis join us. Johnny was a trooper and walked an additional 10 miles after our segment so Josh Ham wouldn’t have to walk alone. I wish I could’ve joined them…but there was no way the blisters on my feet were going to let me go much farther! It was such a great experience & I highly recommend my fellow Free Will Baptists to join them! If you can’t walk, but would still like to support the walk, you can sponsor me by going to: www.go10walk.com/kelliepenn
The goal is to raise $1,000,000 for missions. There is a donor that is going to match each gift up to $500,000! Right now, over $400,000 have been raised…so it is a very exciting time for Free Will Baptist missions!

Here’s the video from our day! We walked during the second segment.
