We opted to sleep in on Wednesday & then let the kids swim for awhile. We needed a break from the craziness of the parks and have a little down time. The kids LOVED the pool at the resort. It is a zero entry pool & they also have an amazing pirate ship area for little kids with waterslides & a bucket that dumps water. Surprisingly, Millie wasn’t scared at the pool! 🙂 Her and Mason played and played and played…and I got a little sun! Then, we got cleaned up & headed over to Epcot. We went in to get fast passes for Soarin’…but all fast passes for all of the rides were already distributed! 🙁 The wait was 80 minutes for Soarin’ & the Test Track so we didn’t get to ride those. We took the kids to the gift shop to buy their stuffed animals, and they both picked out different Pluto stuffed animals. Millie kept acting like Pluto kept trying to lick her and she’d say “Stop it Pluto!” She then kept having Pluto do different tricks! We enjoyed exploring the different areas, Mason acted like an astronaut, & we walked around the various countries. The kids crashed while we were walking around and we had to wake them up to go up in the big ball. Our favorite ride at Epcot was the Nemo ride. It was so neat! The characters from Nemo looked like they were actually in the aquariums…Mason said it was done by magic! After the ride, we spent time looking at the aquariums & the kids especially loved the dolphins! I loved that we spent so much time looking at the fish in the aquariums…Miles had a Fisher Price aquarium at his bedside that he loved. It just felt right to spend a little extra time there thinking about him! We ate dinner at the Coral Reef Restaurant and then watched the fireworks. Unfortunately, Millie was awake this time! She was so mad at me that she had to watch the fireworks…but the rest of us thought it was pretty cool! It was a nice, slower paced day that we all enjoyed!
Oh I love all of your pictures. Your kids are just little dolls 🙂 I can’t wait to see you on Saturday 🙂
