I spent this past weekend in the St. Louis area and fit in four sessions on Saturday. It was a busy day, but so much fun! This is the first sneak peek from that day! 🙂
At 8:00am, I met up with my second cousin (I think that’s how it works…I can never remember! Well, Judy is my mom’s first cousin, so does that make us 2nd cousins?) Anywho…I met up with Judy & her husband, their son & his wife, and their adorable children! We all were hoping and praying that it wouldn’t rain Saturday morning & we all awoke to sunny skies! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect! We met up at Wilson Park in Granite City & spent the next hour and a half walking around and playing. They did a butterfly release & I brought the kids some HUGE lollipops. It was a bunch of fun! Here’s just a handful of pics from yesterday morning:
**edited to add:
Laurie figured out the whole 2nd cousin thing for me! She said, “their son would be your 2nd cousin, and Judy would be your first cousin once removed ”
Thanks Laurie for clearing that up for me! 🙂
I always love your photos! I follow your blog regularly. (p.s. their son would be your 2nd cousin, and Judy would be your first cousin once removed 🙂
