How did the two of you meet? We had a class together in college and re-connected when I was visiting home (while living in St. Louis at the time).
How did he propose…and what made you say yes? He proposed by tying the ring around my dog’s neck on our 3 year anniversary. I said yes because I knew no one else would ever make me feel the way he does!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? Seeing Scott when I walked down the aisle.
What was your favorite detail from your wedding day? Probably our flowers.
What was your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Old: Pictures of our parents on their wedding day displayed at the reception. New: My dress. Borrowed: Jewelry from Flora Gems (won a contest). Blue: My underwear.
Any advice you would give to future brides and grooms? One of my childhood friends told me to take a moment alone before the ceremony to look at myself as a bride. I did that and it kind of put things into perspective for me. It calmed my nerves and allowed me to take it all in! I recommend doing the same!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would make it last longer 🙂 Is that possible?
Where did you go on your honeymoon? We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.
Scott & Lindsey, thank you so much for having me along on your wedding day! You two are so wonderful & I am thrilled for you as you begin your new life together!
