Tim and I had the opportunity to photograph Rob & Michelle’s wedding a week ago. I met up with Michelle & her girls in the morning at the Salon and enjoyed getting to hang out with them and photograph them getting ready. Then, I headed over to The Beach House Restaurant to take pictures of the reception site. Every detail was perfectly placed and the restaurant just looked amazing! After I left the restaurant, I headed to Maranatha and began the day of taking pictures at the church. It was sooooo cold that day (it was even flurrying outside that night!) Because it was so cold, we didn’t get to take many pictures outdoors, but I am still so excited with the pictures we took. They were such a lovely couple with a fun wedding party and I loved getting to share in their special day with them! I loved getting to laugh with the girls…and they even came up with a new name for my canon camera with the lightsphere on top! It is now named the Canonnoosle because the lightsphere looks a bit Dr. Seussish on top of the flash! 🙂
Oh! Funny story from the day…I did have my first wardrobe malfunction picture! One thing I learned was that strapless dresses and jumping pictures don’t always work! haha! Needless to say, you won’t be seeing that picture! 🙂
Congrats Rob & Michelle! I am so excited that God placed you into each other’s lives & I can’t wait to see what all He has in store for the two of you. Thanks for letting me be part of your day! Here’s your sneak peek:
I just love the pure joy in her face in this shot. There’s something just so magical about climbing into your wedding dress on your wedding day. Pure bliss!
Isn’t Michelle stunning? Such a gorgeous bride!
This is when they came out of the sanctuary after the ceremony…aren’t they adorable?
This is by far the biggest group picture I’ve ever taken…Michelle & Rob invited everyone onto the stage after dismissing them row by row and they took a huge group photo of everyone that attended the wedding. I thought it was such a brilliant idea!
Michelle’s uncle owns the Beach House and he had a surprise up his sleeve for everyone. He set off fireworks over the lake…amazing!!! It was the perfect touch for a perfect night!
Tim has some pictures up on his blog, too! You can view them here! Thanks again for letting us be a part of your magical day!
You did another amazing job! My two favorites from your set are the bride’s portrait and the shot of her right after she got in her wedding dress. You are right – true bliss. Great job with the details! The fireworks where a fun surprise and a nice touch to end the day!
Okay, so I know I keep saying this but you and Tim are amazing. I want to get married again so you can shoot it and still be in the wedding. 🙂 I love the one of them after the ceremony and the one of the bride in her dress with her shoes and flowers. Great job! They are wonderful!!! ~ Kristen
the pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! you are amazingly wonderful too! you were so much fun- we enjoyed having you be a part of every moment. i believe i was probably the wardrobe malfunction, huh? and good luck to you and the canonoosle in the future!
