When I talked with Samantha & Ross about their engagement session, they knew they wanted to do the session in Chicago. We picked a date towards the end of April & we envisioned blue skies filled with white, puffy clouds…instead, we got horrible, gray skies filled with nasty, dark clouds. The wind was howling & we were getting soaked! It definitely wasn’t what we envisioned at first…but I love what we ended up with! Somehow through the raindrops and wind gusts, we ended up with some super sweet photos! (I did end up having to stop by The Gap before heading back to Amtrak to buy some flip flops. My Toms were totally drenched & felt like I was walking around in puddles! I can’t even imagine how awesome my hair looked after the shoot was over! haha!!) I decided that they definitely deserve to have perfect weather on their wedding day after all they had to endure during their engagement session! I’m looking forward to their wedding this fall!
I just love them, Kellie! You were such a trooper that day! I’m so happy with how they came out!!
