It has been the craziest weekend! I took these photos on Wednesday night at their home and haven’t had a chance to touch any of them until today! Friday night we had my father in law’s 60th birthday party, then I traveled to the St. Louis area for a wedding I photographed on Saturday, and on Sunday we celebrated my grandmother’s 75th birthday. I’m wore out! LOL!

Before I go and edit some more photos, I wanted to share a cute little Mason story (so I don’t forget about it later!)
Last night, I was tucking Mason in and we were reading books and talking about our family before we said our nighttime prayers. We got to talking about Miles and how he lives in Heaven. He asked “Why does he live in Heaven? Can we go there?” I smiled and said “We’ll go there someday, probably when we’re a lot older. Miles went there because he died.” He looked at me with wide eyes and said “Who beat him up?!?” Can you tell the kid has started watching superman/spiderman? haha! I giggled and said “No one beat him up. He got really, really sick and God didn’t want him to have to be sick or hurt any more, so he took him up to Heaven after he died.” Oh the mind of a 3 year old! 🙂
