Kyle & Whitney’s wedding was full of perfect little details & tons of love from their friends and family.  There was just the sweetest presence between these two & you could tell just how much they truly adored each other.  Some of my favorite moments from the wedding is when their brother in law sang “Love is Not a Fight” by Warren Barfield during the ceremony (incredibly powerful lyrics!), when Kyle surprised Whitney during the ceremony by singing to her while their parents shared a dance, and watching the same day edit video that Jeremiah from ParkLife created during the reception (brides…do yourself a favor and hire him.  He’s crazy talented!).  Their friend decorated Pear Tree Estates for the day & it was just gorgeous.  Lots of hard work went into making every detail perfect & it was beautifully executed.  I especially loved their personal logo that was created for the day & how it was carried throughout.  Enjoy their sneak peek!!

Loved watching her sit & read her note from Kyle & open her gift from him before the wedding.

You two really couldn’t be more made for each other.  (and I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!)

What’s your love story? Kyle and I we re-introduced at a wedding. I had always had a little crush on him, but what really first drew me to him was when I heard him give the best man speech at the wedding. He had the crowd cracking up. His confidence and humor were intriguing to me. When I saw him at the wedding I asked if he knew who I was, and he thought I was my sister ☺ I laughed it off and we eventually exchanged numbers. We were friends for a year, until finally he moved closer to home and we were able to develop a relationship. He proposed at the Firefly in Effingham, IL and presented me with a large poster of all of our nieces and nephews wearing t-shirts spelling out “Whitney will you marry Kyle.” I was completely shocked and of course said “YES!”

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? The whole day was like a dream. What really stands out is the dance with my dad. All day I had really held my emotions together, but when we started dancing I completely lost it. I will never forget that moment.

What was your favorite detail from your wedding day? Our videographer played a highlight film with different moments from our wedding day. The highlight film was played at the reception and everyone loved it. I look back at the highlight film now and can’t keep from crying. I definitely recommend ParkLife Films!

What was your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue? Something old was my garter, which was also my something blue and something borrowed. I ended up forgetting to put the thing on…oops! My something new was my shoes and my dress!

Any advice you would give to future brides and grooms? Most likely something will not go as planned but you’ll thank yourself later for staying happy and calm. Also, we loved the message our ministers gave at the ceremony. Cake and dancing is fun but ultimately we wanted to celebrate our vows and the meaning of marriage, and we won’t forget their words.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? Secrets Maroma Beach in Mexico.

Anything else you’d like to include from your day? We can’t thank Kellie enough for being so fun and easy going throughout our day. The whole wedding day was a blur but I remember the down times spent with Kellie really put us at ease. She was great with the kids in our wedding party and so many people told us how awesome she was. Not only is she talented, but is someone that we could just hang with ☺
