Hollywood Studios–Tuesday

Tuesday morning we woke up and headed over to Hollywood Studios. As soon as we got there, we went and got fast passes for Toy Story Mania. Then, we watched High School Musical 3 perform in front of Mickey’s Sorcerer hat. (Maddie Kate & Lily, I totally thought of the two of you while I watched it!) Then, we watched the Playhouse Disney show (Mason & Millie loved it!) and then watched the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Millie was so nervous heading into the theater to watch the show…she was pretty sure Ursula was going to come out and take her to jail. But, once it got started, she thought it was pretty amazing! We were all really impressed with it! It was beautiful! We then went to lunch at the Pizza Planet & then watched Indiana Jones. Mason thought the show was awesome…but I had to take Millie out 1/2 way through it! She was screaming her head off…she couldn’t handle the explosions! But, the early exit allowed us to get a great spot for the Block Party Parade. That parade was unbelievable! The parade stopped right in front of us and we had the most amazing view! They pulled Mason & Millie out into the parade to dance with them…but my little scaredy cats quickly headed back for the stroller! LOL!!! They also had a scream-o-meter to measure the crowd’s screams…and Mason’s face turned bright red while he screamed. I’ve never heard anything quite so loud! The parade was based on the Pixar characters…and my kids love the pixar movies! It was pretty fabulous!

After the parade, Tyler & Mason rode Star Tours (based on Star Wars) and Millie and I just hung out and took a break in the shade. Then, we went and watched the car & motorcycle stunt show. Mason was in boy heaven! Millie however thought it was the worst place in the world! I made her sit through it though…I wanted to watch Mason’s face while he watched the stunts! He wanted to go back after it was over & I had a hard time convincing him that it was the last stunt show of the day! We went and rode Toy Story Mania & that was hands down our favorite thing of the day! The kids wanted to ride again, but the wait time was 70 minutes. We were just thankful we had a fast pass so we could ride it the one time! We then watched Muppets 3D (Mason thought it was wonderful…Millie, not so much. She truly hated the 3D movies!)

Then, we played on the Honey I Shrunk the kids playset. They both loved running off some energy! We then went and had dinner at the 50’s Prime Time cafe…I would definitely skip that restaurant next time. My kids didn’t like being told to keep their elbows off of the table & they didn’t like the adults getting in their faces and talking to them. I really didn’t like it either! We then shopped around for a bit & then watched Fantasmic. Thankfully Millie fell asleep by this point. Fantasmic was awesome…but it focused a lot on the villains. Millie would’ve had a heart attack! She slept through it and the rest of us enjoyed it! It was quite an amazing show! It started to rain, so we quickly boarded the buses & headed back for the hotel. It was such a great day!

Again…I know it sounds like we tortured Millie! But, she really did have so much fun…we just had to make her experience some things to realize they weren’t as bad as she thought! Mason however said it was his special day! He said Monday was Millie’s special day because she got to do the lunch with the princesses. This was his special day…he got to watch Indiana Jones & the car stunt show, ride Star Tours, he got to build his own light saber, and ride Toy story mania! It was such a great day for him!!!!!

Your family shot is so cute!! We didn’t spend enough time here unfortunately. We just ran out of time (I decided to turn this planned day into another Kingdom day).
