I partnered with WBGL again on Friday night to photograph the FFH concert at GT Church here in Decatur.  I am amazed at how they have transformed the old Illinois Power building into a beautiful church!  I love getting to walk around during concerts & take tons of photos.  It’s the best of both worlds…I get to take fun photos & catch a great concert at the same time!  I had never seen FFH live before, even though I think I own every one of their CD’s!  They took a break for awhile & are touring again.  If they come to your area, definitely go!  I loved that they had people send them “tweets” and e-mails during intermission with song requests.  They are definitely “real” people with a real love for serving our Savior!  They also travel with their families & I loved that they brought their children on the stage.  Again, it helps to remind you that they are real people!  They sing so many songs I love, but there’s one that speaks volumes to me.  It’s called Lord Move or Move Me.  This song was heavily played during the time when Mason & Miles were in the NICU & then Miles proceeded to get so sick.  There were so many parts of that song that just really seem to sum up my heart while watching Miles fight to live & then lose his little life at only 3 months. Every time I hear this song it just takes me right back to riding in the car back and forth to the hospital…and I am so grateful that the Lord does care about me & what I’m going through.  Through all of the highs and lows.
Here’s a peek at the photos from the concert:
